The carbon acts as a hardening agent, providing additional strength, at a lower cost than alternative hardening techniques.

and welding appliances, depending on the type of carbon steel balls you choose.
According to the hardness can be divided into Soft ball(HRC28) and hard ball (HRC55-60 after heat treatment).
